Administration Department of Christian Hospital Tank
The Administration Department of Christian Hospital Tank (CHT) is responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the hospital. It ensures that all departments operate efficiently and that the hospital continues to provide quality healthcare services to the community in an organised and professional manner.
Christian Hospital Tank is governed a Board of Directors, which provides overall policy direction, strategic guidance, and institutional oversight. The Board ensures that the hospital operates in line with its mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
Under the guidance of the Board of Directors, the hospital is managed through a Hospital Management Committee (HMC) that oversees the administrative and operational affairs of the hospital. The committee is chaired the Hospital Director/CEO and includes key members of the hospital leadership: the Medical Superintendent, Hospital Administrator, Nursing Superintendent, Hospital Manager, DUSMS School Principal, and Staff Representative. The committee works collectively to implement hospital policies, make strategic decisions, and ensure that services are delivered effectively and responsibly.
Under the supervision of the Hospital Management Committee, the Administration Department coordinates the hospital’s day-to-day operations, facilitates communication between departments, and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly implemented to maintain efficiency, accountability, and quality healthcare services.
